Agricultural products from the Tibet Autonomous Region (TAR) won favor of consumers when Tibet delegation attended the 7th China International Agricultural Trade Fair, which was held from September 7 to 13 in Changchun, capital of the Jilin Province.

According to TAR Agriculture & Husbandry Department, seven enterprises including the Tibet Longhu Industry & Trade Co., Ltd. and Tibet Zangyuan Highland Barley Wine Co., Ltd. attended the trade fair. 80 characteristic agricultural products of more than 10 species such as highland barley products and pashm products were on show and they were popular on the fair. Seven contract transactions were signed on the spot and 37 intention agreements were reached.

In addition, four products from Tibet including the "Shenglu" peanut oil produced by Tibet Characteristic Industry Co., Ltd. won the gold medal on agricultural products on this trade fair.

"We will invest more to featured industries to make them enter into the market outside of Tibet and we will try to know more about the demands of mainland areas to help our products satisfy consumers," said a principal of TAR Agriculture & Husbandry Department.
