The gold price in Hong Kong went up 154 HK dollars to 9,362 HK dollars per tael on Wednesday, according to the Chinese Gold and Silver Exchange Society.

The price is equivalent to 1,015 U.S. dollars a troy ounce, up 16.63 U.S. dollars at Wednesday's exchange rate of one U.S. dollar against 7.7425 HK dollars.
