The gold price in Hong Kong went down 160 HK dollars to 10,288 HK dollars per tael on Thursday, according to the Chinese Gold and Silver Exchange Society.

The price is equivalent to 1,112.66 U.S. dollars a troy ounce, down 17.81 U.S. dollars at Thursday's exchange rate of one U.S. dollar against 7.7615 HK dollars.
